go to dogs 的意思呢，其实还不只是楼主的例子，记得电影《百万英镑》么，我看过好几遍，那个被主人公抢了房间的英国贵族就有这么句话：“ｔｈｉｓ　ｗｏｒｌｄ　ｉｓ　ｇｏｉｎｇ　ｔｏ　ｄｏｇｓ！＂因为他觉得美国人的金钱比他的贵族头衔更被人尊敬，所以说了这么句话，不知道配音后是怎么翻译的，我想可以是这个世界算完蛋了，或者世风日下之类的吧。
