You would find the difference between them,if you compare them seriously.

Compare them seriously, then you would find the difference between them.

LONGMAN Dictionary:
then adv. used when saying what the result of a situation or action will be
If you won't tell him, then I will.
Start off early, then you won't have to rush.

Have a good comparison, and you'll find what's different between / among them.

.......

Yup, it's true. We can collect two example sentences from LDOCE as follows:

used to say what happens next or what you do next:
Mix the flour and butter, then add the eggs.
Byron travelled to Italy and then to Greece.
used when saying what the result of a situation or action will be:
If you won't tell him, then I will.
Start off early, then you won't have to rush.

However, since "then" is an adverb, it is usually not acceptable to connect two clauses. It is the so-called comma splice.

What about this version?

Compare well, and you may discover their difference.

macauor 发表于 2007-7-6 19:33:53

The difference is observed by comparing them.

Compare them carefully, then you'll find the difference between them.

you'll find the difference between/among them after Comparison .

Comparing them carefully/seriously/earnestly, you will see/find/discover/realize the difference between
them.

至于well, seriously enrnestly good都是很不适合的。

有人说了:原句就是'他们' 这怎么翻译? compare them.... u'll find out the difference. 不需要什么between them.

To compare them carefully, you may find out the difference.

To compare them in detail, you may spot the difference.

Compare them seriously, then you will find the difference.

If you compare the two seriously , you'll find the difference.
