电子邮件
During the past few years, scientists the world over have suddenly found themselves
productively engaged in a task they once spent their lives avoiding writing, but particularly
letter writing.

电子邮件开始慢慢代替了传真、电话、邮政快递,当然还有邮件。电子邮件使远距离的科学合作者节省时间,
部分也是因为便利的不同步性(作者可以打字而他们的不同时区的同事正在睡觉,他们的邮件将一直等待)。
