I didn't know how to cook until I had to. My mother prepared lunch and dinner for me before I went to university. And I don't need to cook at university. The canteen took care of that. After I graduated, I lived at my parents' home. So I didn't need to cook. And I didn't want to learn.
Finally nobody cooked for me, as I moved to another city. I bought food for a few days then gave up. I couldn't afford that. So the only realistic solution would be to cook by myself.
I remember the first thing I cooked was fried egg with tomato, maybe the easiest food for a beginner. I was so excited that I shared it will my neighbor who said it was good, maybe just out of courtesy. As I cooked more, my skills got improved and I now won't starve if nobody cooks for me.
So I know that cooking is not hard, just like many other things. So far as you try, you will learn that. |
