【内容介绍】

天马贤叁是从日本渡海而来的年轻外科医生。目前在德国艾斯勒医院海尼曼医疗小组担任外科组长。天马出众的外科技巧使他深受外科主任的赏识，院长把自己的爱女爱玛许给了天马作未婚夫，并暗示了将来一定会让他荣升的想法。

在成功的完成了音乐家罗林哈巴的脑部手术后，艾斯勒医院名声大振，天马虽然不喜欢医院那种利益至上观念，但是为了能从事自己喜欢的医学研究，还是安于现状的生活着。
一位普通土耳其妇女的指责，使得天马发现音乐家手术成功给医院带来的利益是建立在一位普通土耳其市民的牺牲上。天马的良心受到了严厉的苛责，一连几天都神情恍惚，他反复麻醉自己这是医院的命令，而非自己的责任，可是未婚妻的一句话“人的生命本来就不是等值的。”给他带来不小的冲击，令他开始怀疑自己是不是也开始堕落了。天马想指正院长不应该以利益为重，而是应该以救人为己任，但是院长毫不理会，还命令天马停止蛛网膜的研究帮他在学术会议上的发言写草稿，使得因为仰慕院长的研究而远渡重洋天马感到痛苦不已。

这天，医院里接到急诊，东德的高官李贝特夫妇一家遭到强盗袭击，夫妇两中弹身亡，留下了昏迷的女儿安娜和重伤的儿子约翰。约翰头部中弹伤势十分严重，天马仔细的制定的手术方案发誓要救回少年的生命，正在此时市长罗帝卡也因为脑血栓被送往医院急救，院长再一次要求天马放弃那个男孩执行市长的治疗手术。在前往手术室的路上，那个土耳其妇女指责言词反复出现在天马的脑海中，在道德的天平上，天马最终选择了救助那个重伤的少年。

从此他的生活完全发生了变化，但是最没让他想到的是，他牺牲了一切拯救了那位男孩，却亲手复活了一个杀人怪物Monster……
