◎简　　介

在弟弟理查德·杰科的帮助下，大盗塞思·杰科越狱成功。两人在逃亡的路上杀死多名警探炳。他们只有逃到墨西哥境内才有生路。在一家汽车旅馆里，杰科兄弟劫持了牧师雅各布.富勒和他的两各孩子。在他们的掩护下，杰科兄弟躲过了警方的搜查，顺利地到达了墨西哥境内。杰科兄弟与墨西哥匪徒卡洛斯约定好在一间酒吧见面，卡洛斯将安排他们躲避风声，到时他们也将释放牧师全家。他们到达这家只从黄昏开放到黎明的酒吧后，在那里等待迟迟未到的卡洛斯。入夜他们惊异地发现这间酒吧内聚集了大量的吸血鬼，为了保命他们与吸血鬼展开了殊死的搏斗。最后只有塞思和雅各布的女儿凯特坚持到了黎明，离开这个血腥恐怖的地方。

两大怪才Quentin Tarantino和Robert Rodriguez联手，线这次会有什么好戏上演？本片由Quentin编剧并出演Richard一角，最鲜明的特色在于两种完全不同又的风格强硬对接起来：前半段是颠覆性的《低俗小说》似的后现代公路片，而后半段却毫无预兆地突变为标准的血腥恐怖的吸血鬼电影，这一点令上述两类电影的影迷都大感兴趣，也都不满足。
