罗伯特·莱基（Robert Leckie），美国作家，生于1920年12月18日出生于宾夕法尼亚州费城的一个爱尔兰天主教家庭，家中有兄妹八人，莱基在新泽西长大，很早就开始了写作生涯，16岁时就给报纸体育专栏撰写稿件。1941年12月日军空袭珍珠港后，莱基应征入伍，参加了海军陆战队，成为陆战一师第1团第2营的一名机枪手。在战争中，莱基参加了陆战一师除冲绳之外的所有重大战役，包括瓜岛、格洛斯特角和佩莱利乌，1944年9月在佩莱利乌被爆炸冲击波震伤，被撤离前线，从此结束了军旅生涯。战后，莱基成为一名通俗作家，战争经历深深地影响了他的写作，其大部分作品都是军事历史题材。莱基在1957年出版了个人回忆录《我的头盔我的枕》（Helmet for My Pillow）畅销一时，并且成为2010年美国HBO迷你战争剧集《太平洋》的原始素材之一。莱基于2001年12月24日去世。
