FIRST DICTIONARY is a lively, colourful dictionary for children aged five years upwards. The selection of entries is based on extensive classroom research into words young children frequently come across in their reading and use in their writing and speaking. Younger readers will use this dictionary to see how familiar words are spelt, while more confident readers will look up a word for meaning.
