　　田蕴章，田荫亭之长子，字存文，蟠逸斋主人。原籍河北省河间县卧佛堂乡河西村。1945年生於天津，现为南开大学东方艺术系书法硕士生导师。幼秉庭训，始攻欧书，聪颖好学，勤勉过人，青年时期便已负书名。后遍临历代名家：二王、孙过庭、钟绍京、颜真卿、赵孟頫\、文徵明、林则徐以及潘龄皋、华世奎、王维贤、陈益椿、戴彬元等近代名家，融会贯通，自成风格，长於楷法，兼精行草，且博通吟咏，雅好琴棋。曾赴日本、香港、台湾讲学办展，为日《每日新闻》称作“中国之一流书道家”。1989年至1993年期间，曾与胞弟英章于日本横滨、中国北京、天津联袂举办“田氏兄弟书法展”达十次之多，近年来，专心於课堂讲授，致力於书学研究，著有《九成宫醴泉铭探源》、《欧楷解析》、《墨海双帆》、《楷书抱冲斋诗稿》、《诗词书法邮资明信片》等行世，曾於天津电视台录制播放八十集书法讲座，博得盛赞。其作品入选北京荣宝斋《孙子兵法百家书》、《唐诗百家书》等权威性刊物，楷书作品还被中南海等国家重要部门收藏，成为当代著名书法教育家和当代正统派书家代表人物之一。
