介绍一下：
1947年9月21日，斯蒂芬·金生于美国缅因州的波特兰市。其父亲在他三岁那年，有一天出去买香烟就一去不复返。在他七岁那年，他就写成了其第一部短篇小说。他是50年代恐怖电影的影迷。以后，他与其他十多岁的男孩一样，玩足球，参加摇滚乐队，而且出版了二篇短篇小说。中学毕业后，斯蒂芬·金进入缅因大学Orono分校，并在1970年获得英语文学学士学位。同年，他与女作家塔比莎结婚。毕业后，他当过教师，业余时间也写一些东西，但时常被出版商退回。后来，就写出Carrie，从此命运就发生巨大变化。
