Reader, Professor, Jr., Ir., 一直不太明白！英国有Reader, 也有Professor, 美国好像都是Professer, Jr., Ir., 是什么意思？比较牛的人才会用Jr., Ir.!
请教了！

As far as I'm concerned,

jr. is an adjective, used of the younger of two persons of the same name, for example, "John Smith, Jr."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ir. is a noun for a board of the British government that administers and collects major direct taxes
