poetry更指的是作诗技巧;诗歌艺术，而不是诗歌。poetry和poem不一样，poetry是poem的总称，一般不能指某人的诗歌。

If something is derivative, it is not the result of new ideas, but has been developed from something else
derivative 译成“矫揉造作”不太恰当，译作“了无新意”之类的还差不多
