The History
London has a long and complicated history, which is full of violence, bloodshed, royalty and intrigue1). The city was founded on a Roman outpost called Londinium. It became an important trade center in 886. Since 1558 (when the first Queen Elizabeth took the throne), London has been the political, cultural and economic center of England.

The best way to get a good look at this enormous city is to take a ride on the world's largest observation wheel. When you get tired of London life, you might want to give London death a try. This spooky9) museum will give you an authentic10) look at the gruesome11) and bloody side of English history.
