There is another Christmas even coming. How will I spend the night alone?
I remembered the previous Christmas evens I spent with my girl. That was when I still worked in Xi'an City. In fact, I was always busy and never take any notice to any celebration. Every time, my girl will remind me of the some big events and led me out. That was a snow covered evening, we ran through the campus of the Jiaotong University hand in hand. I could hear my girl was laught heartedly beside me. We ran and langh, or bought some cracker and enjoy their crepitation. There was a kind of thread like cracker made by coating powder over the surface of thread. Young lovers liked to burn it and hear it gentle cracking, and enjoy and smell, as well as the air of holiday it created.
It was so cold but we were hot.
Now my girl has become my wife and was back in home while I was here again in such a far away place as a graduated student. I miss my wife and my son.
Wish them a very happy Christmas eve, although without me. |
