Greeting an old friend of mine, I said:
Long time no see!
She replies:
No, long time no see!

Does she make the right answer? Should “Yes” or “No” be used here?

I think she is right.
通常我们说"yes"是肯定的语气，后面的句子是肯定句。
其实就是反意疑问句的回答，只是译成中文就意思相反。比如：
It is not big enough,is it? 还不够大，对吗？
Yes , it is. 不，够大了！
No,it isn't. 是的，不够大！
