为什么答案不选A，而是选C呀？  only by studying history 在从句中是否是做状语呢？感谢大家！

"it is only by studying history ___we can learn what to expect in the future"，这个从句是强调句型，所以选 C；只要把这个结构单独看作一个句子，应该很容易看出来。 by studying history是方式状语。
