请问:link与connect有何区别?

人教版高中英语教材第5模块42页:

这两句话哪个该用link...to,哪个该用connect....to?

link...to... 更直接具体的关系;
connect...to... 较为抽象间接的联系吧.

查了两本字典: 一本<英语动词句型用法>(商务印书版)上有

link sb/sth to sth :使连接在一起 如: It links the human heart to the life of the earth.  
connect sb/sth to sb/sth :1.使与...连接 2.使与...接通电话

另外查了Oxford第六版)
conncet:
to join together two or more thing.
link :
1. to make a physical connection, between one object
2. or they are linked. they are linked , they connectedin some way 如: Exposure to ultraviolet light is linked to skin cancer
3. to state that there is a connection or relationship between two things
综上可知道 link做连接之意思比connect更为广泛. 个人觉得以上三个题目都可以用link to 不知道大家的意见...
