When I was a university student, I noticed many American Us had bumped up
their minimum TOEFL/IELTS requirements, while offering remedial English
instruction to those who couldn't make the cut. One insider told me they
did this to make $$$$$ out of foreign students.
Is this happening in other English speaking countries? |
