新四级写作考前点拨

2007年6月23日上午四级开考，新四级和新六级都是写作打头阵，对于望眼欲穿不甘心败走麦城的广大考生来说，如何临阵磨枪不快也光取得满意的写作分数呢？下文笔者将给读者一一道来。
　　
　　切勿轻信考前押题
　　
　　四六级考试影响巨大，众目睽睽之下，凡有漏题者均会被绳之以法，谁又敢冒天下之大不韪呢？押题是概率极小的事件，辅导机构押题是为了提高自己的知名度或吸引眼球，考生相信押题也是因为心里实在没底，寻找个安慰罢了。
　　建议：将有限的时间投入到无限的复习中去。
　　
　　阅卷程序带来的启示
　　
　　四级作文评分的方法叫总体评分法，具体做法是：先挂档，后微调，即阅卷人员先按照考试委员会从学生实际作文卷中选出来的包括了不同档次分值的参照卷确定分值范围，计有五档：2分、5分、8分、11分、14分，然后进行适当调节。由于任务紧、工作量大，阅卷老师都很辛苦，所以有经验的老师往往有一个比较好的工作方法：先扫一扫字数够不够，字数反映了扩展能力，写得多而正确，分值容易高；同时顺便看卷面整齐不整齐，写得好看，分数也就高；然后看是否按照提纲要求分段；最后看第一段的语言。老练的阅卷人其实不用读多少句子已经可以看出考生水平。以上说明写作分数有一定的偶然性，阅卷人员的工作程序有可以利用的地方。
　　建议：字数写够（可以说越多越好）——写整齐（字写得越美观越好）——段落切记分清楚——第一段尽可能包装漂亮，其余段落别犯错，当然能写复杂更好——耐心进行最后检查（其实是对自己的文章进行短文改错）。
　　
　　如何写满
　　
　　英语写作对于很多同学就像日语写作对于我，一个字都写不出来，所以对写作基础薄弱的同学而言，要背诵一些引题的句子，熟悉写作框架，并相应准备一些模板。比如四级作文经常考的对立观点题，都可以收在以下的框架中：
　　对立观点型的框架
　　第一段：第一句引出现象或者争议的话题；一些人认为，原因是……
　　第二段：另一些人认为，原因是……
　　第三段：我认为，原因是……
　　
　　四级作文考过对立观点型的题目包括：
　　2006年12月：CCTV春晚是否应该开办？
　　2005年12月：名校成为旅游热点
　　2000年6月 ：口语考试要不要进行？
　　1999年6月 ：读书应该有选择还是要博览群书？
　　1998年6月 ：数字是否会带来好运？
　　1995年1月 ：金钱可以买来幸福吗？
　　1992年1月 ：失败是坏事么？
　　按照写作提纲，有时可能会没有第二段，“一些人认为”后直接跟“我认为”。
　　
　　常见的引出话题的句式很多，比如：
　　1、最近经常辩论的一个问题是……
　　A much debated issue these days is whether...（后跟whether引出的名词性从句）
　　2、最近⋯⋯的议题已经引起了人们广泛的注意。
　　Recently, the issue of whether...（后跟whether引出的名词性从句） has drawn public attention.
　　其中，drawn可以改成aroused；public可以改成popular，grave，worldwide。当然也可以用triggered/sparked a heated debate/discussion或者 caused/aroused wide/general/considerable/ international concern等。
　　3、现在很多人谈论的最热门的话题之一是……
　　One of the biggest issues/hottest topics/most popular things/most serious problems many people talk/complain about now is whether...（后跟whether引出的名词性从句）
　　
　　模板也有很多，比如：
　　A much debated issue these days is whether___________. There are people who believe that_________. They point out that_______________.They also say that_______________________________________.
　　
　　In spite of all these claims, there are quite a few people who agree that_________. For one thing,_________, and for another,___________________.
　　
　　To be frank, I am inclined to side with the latter. I believe_____________________________________.
　　其实模板也不是很难，用不着望“模板”而生畏，按张红岩老师的比喻，模板是规定动作要做好，分值差别在于自选动作。自选动作写简单句，或许这就是写作基础薄弱的同学目前能够达到的高度吧。
　　如2006年12月CCTV春晚是否应该开办可以写成：
　　A much debated issue these days is whether the CCTV Spring Festival Gala（庆典, 演出）should be cancelled.People who believe it should be cancelled point out that it is old and the programs are not interesting. They also say that people can do many other interesting things such as visit friends and play computer games.
　　In spite of all these claims, quite a few people agree that the CCTV Spring Festival Gala has become an important part of our new year. For one thing, it brings family members together, and for another, some programs are very funny. Some programs make people think.
　　To be frank, I am inclined to side with the latter. I believe watching the CCTV Spring Festival Gala has become our habit. It is our tradition.I hope the CCTV Spring Festival Gala will become better with every new year. (152字)
　　
　　建议：框架中间填充简单句，不要犯错，争取夺得基本分。
如何写好
　　
　　对写作基础比较好的同学而言如何写好？以下是笔者对上述文章的一番改写，试比较：
　　A heatedly debated issue these days is whether the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, the nationwide live new-year celebration party, should be retained or cancelled. Its opponents insist that the Gala should not be allowed to continue. They point out that the evening is obsolete and the programs are far from amusing. They also say that bored viewers may as well choose many other substitutes on New Year’s Eve, for example, visiting close friends, playing fascinating computer games, or simply chatting with long-parted parents.
　　In spite of all these claims, quite a few people agree that the celebration has become an indispensable part of our new year. For one thing, it brings family members, far or near, together, seated into the same sofa, and for another, some short plays and cross-talks are very funny while other shows are thought-provoking.
　　To be frank, I am inclined to side with the latter. I believe that all Chinese people have been accustomed to appreciating this night show, and it has become part of our tradition. I hope the CCTV Gala will add more flavor and pleasure to our Spring Festival in the years to come. (190字)
　　
　　这样的文章一定可以获得高分，技巧何在？一曰换词，二曰扩句。
　　小词换成大词，如much换成heatedly；believe换成insist；old换成obsolete；not interesting换成far from amusing；important变为indispensable；还有retain，hurrah，thought-provoking，flavor的使用等。
　　概括的词换成具体的词，如people 换成opponents，bored viewers；things换成substitutes；programs换成short plays and cross-talks等。
　　多处使用同义词或者同义表达进行替换，避免单调重复，如the CCTV Spring Festival Gala 在文中出现多次，让人生厌，换为同义词或上义词：the Gala, the evening, the party, the celebration，this night show，或者换为代词it；cancel换为 not be allowed to continue。
　　句子的扩展主要采取了添加修饰语的方法，如the CCTV Spring Festival Gala后面加了同位语the nationwide live new-year celebration party，其中核心名词前面又加了形容词live（直播的），live前面又加了副词nationwide（全国范围地）；friends前面加close, computer games前面加 fascinating，后面又加了or simply chatting with long-parted parents组成更长的平行结构；还有far or near，seated into the same sofa为后置定语的使用等。
　　对于部分句子进行合并、加工，如两个简单句“Some programs are very funny. Some programs make people think.”使用while连接起来加以改写成：some short plays and cross-talks are very funny while other shows are thought-provoking，而“I believe watching the CCTV Spring Festival Gala has become our habit. It is our tradition.”两个句子用and连接成为了并列句并进行了改写：I believe that all Chinese people have been accustomed to appreciating this night show, and it has become part of our tradition。
　　
　　建议：两者对比，四级作文要夺取高分，在不跑题的基础上，内容虽重要，但关键是语言的包装。在写作过程中或事后检查时，将相同的词换成同义词、上义词或代词，小词换成大词，概括的词换成具体的词，名词前面加形容词，形容词前面加副词，名词后面加同位语或后置定语，动词前加副词，后面加副词或者介词短语；简单句可以按照它们之间的关系进行连接，变为并列句或者主从复合句，分数就可直线上升了。
