Did God create everything that exists? Does evil exist? Did God create evil?

万事万物都是上帝创造的吗？邪恶是否真的存在？它是上帝创造的吗？

A University professor at a well known institution of higher learning challenged his students with this question: “Did God create everything that exists??And a student bravely replied, “Yes he did!?
在一所著名高等学府的课堂上，教授向学生提出一道挑战性的问题：「世上的万事万物都是由上帝创造的吗？」一位学生勇敢地回答说：「是，都是他创造的！」
“God created everything??The professor asked. “Yes sir, he certainly did,?the student replied. The professor next asked, “If God created everything, then God created evil. And since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, we can assume that God is evil.?
教授又问：「上帝真的创造一切吗？」 那位学生回答：「是的！教授，当然一切都是他创造的。」 教授接着问：「如果上帝真的创造万物，那么邪恶也是上帝创造的。既然邪恶存在，根据外在行为反映一个人内心的原理，我们可以假定上帝是邪恶的。」

The student became quiet and did not respond to the professor’s hypothetical statement. So the professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the class that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said, “May I ask you a question, professor?? “Of course,?replied the professor. The student stood up and asked, “Professor, does cold exist?? “What kind of question is that? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?? The other students snickered at the young man’s question.
另一位学生举手发言：「教授，我可以请教您一个问题吗？」 「当然可以！」教授回答。 那位学生站起来说道：「教授，寒冷存在吗？」 「这是什么问题？它当然存在。难道你从不觉得冷吗？」 其它学生纷纷窃笑那位年轻人的问题。

Then the young man replied, “In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460?F) is the total absence of heat; and all matter becomes inert and incapable of reacting at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat.?

The student continued, “Professor, does darkness exist?? And the professor responded, “Of course it does.? The student replied, “Once again you’re wrong, sir. Darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact, we can use Newton’s prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn’t this correct? Darkness is a term used by humans to describe what happens when there is no light present.?
那位学生接着又问：「教授，黑暗存在吗？」 教授回答说：「它当然存在！」 那位学生说：「您又错了！教授，黑暗也不存在。黑暗其实是因为缺少光的缘故，我们可以研究光线，但无法研究黑暗。我们可以用牛顿的三棱镜把白光分成许多颜色的光，并研究每种光的波长。不过我们却无法测量黑暗，因为只要一道光线就可以划破并照亮一个黑暗的世界，所以我们如何能知道一个空间有多黑暗？我们只能够测量光的强度，不是吗？黑暗是人类用来描述没有光线存在时的一个词汇。」

Finally the young man asked the professor, “Sir, does evil exist?? Now uncertain, the professor responded, “Of course, as I’ve already said. We see it every day. It’s in the daily examples of man’s inhumanity to man. It’s in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.
最后这位年轻人问教授：「教授，那邪恶存在吗？」 这回教授的回答不太确定了，他说：「当然！就像我之前所说的，我们每天都会看到邪恶。每天都有人类以不人道的方式对待他人的例子。它存在于世界各地的许多罪行和暴力之中，这些不是邪恶是什么！」

To this the student replied, “Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It’s just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when humans do not have God’s love present in their hearts. It’s like the cold that comes when there’s no heat, or the darkness that comes when there’s no light.?
那位学生回答道：「邪恶并不存在，教授，至少可以说邪恶本身并不存在。会有邪恶只是因为心中没有上帝，就像黑暗与寒冷一样，邪恶是人类所创造的一个名词，用来描述心中没有上帝的情况。所以上帝并没有创造邪恶，它是人类心中缺乏上帝之爱的结果，就好比寒冷源自于没有热能，黑暗源自于没有光线。」
Finally, the professor sat down and asked, “Young man, who are you?? “Sir, my name is Einstein, Albert Einstein.?
