还记得老一辈人结婚一般都是请单位领导或比较德高望重的人来主持婚礼,而现在的人结婚基本上都是请婚庆公司的司仪来主持了。那么,“主持婚礼”用英语怎么说呢?

报道中说,郑州一个小伙子在为一个患白血病的女孩捐献骨髓后,在病房里与未婚妻完成了婚礼。当地红十字会的领导为他们主持了婚礼,并祝他们永远幸福。
这里的“preside over the wedding”指的就是“主持婚礼”。“Preside over”是“主持会议或仪式”的意思。而主持婚礼的人,即“司仪”,英语中叫“master of ceremonies”. |
