Both are okay, but the first one is probably more common.
The first one (\"Are you male?\") is using \"male\" like an adjective to
describe something about you. Just like:
- Are you happy?
- Are you excited?
- Are you nervous?
The second one (\"Are you a male?\") is using \"male\" like a noun and
is asking if you belong to the group that the word \"male\" covers.
Just like:
- Are you a happy person?
- Are you a policeman?
- Are you an angel?
As I said, the first one is probably more common, but both are still
okay. |
