中文内容提要
《鲁特——高平协定》和《蓝辛——石井协定》是美日之间于二十世纪初在中国东北争夺利益而又相互妥协的产物，两个协定的签订过程体现 出了这一时期的美日关系。本文通过对两个协定的比较研究，一则刻画美日两国在东北亚的争夺态势，并做深层剖析；二则揭示美日争夺对相关国家及东北亚国际格局变迁的影响。
Abstract
Root- Takahira Agreement and Lansing-Ishii Agreement are the result of thecompetition and compromise between America and Japan, which happened inNortheast China in early 20th century. The signing of the two agreementsreveals the US-Japan relations in this period. Through comparative research onthe two agreements, on the one hand, we aims at revealing the competingrelationship in Northeast Asia between America and Japan, and then do anin-depth analysis; on the other hand, pointing out the influence on relevantcountries and the Northeast Asia international relations.
My translation:
Two agreements, Root-Takahira Agreement and Lansing-Ishii Agreement, are the compromising results of U.S. and Japan competing for their respective national interests in Northeast China during early 20th century. And the negotiation processes of those two agreements also reveal the US-Japan relationships of this period. The competition dynamics of U.S. and Japan over the Northeast Asia, and its effects on the changing patterns of international relations in the Northeast Asia will be described and analyzed in this thesis by comparative method.
