The phrase in question is quite self-explanatory:
carefully add what? double distilled water (=water distilled twice)
how much? 64 ml
how ? add part, then another part,
for example, you can add 30 ml, stir or shake to dissolve the
granules, then add another 34 ml
You can sterileze the double distilled water with a 0.2 micron filter, if the water has not been
sterilized already.
It's a common practice in laboratory, add part of the required amount of solution to dissolve
granules or whatever, then add the rest of solution. |
