[疑难问答]请教关于“模范”的翻译

请问中文中的模范怎样翻译？以前见过，应该是两个词MODEL + ？实在想不起来了？

model,pattern,examplar?Maybe better to set a background,such as model husband,model millionaire?--^_*---and i guess that's the reason you just remember two words but not just'model'

'icon' is a cool word

模范 can be explained as "exemplary person or thing" in Englsh.
In Chinese we can see “劳动模范”（model worker），“模范事迹”（exemplary  deeds）and “模范共青团员”（model  member of the Communist Youth League）etc.
As benysu said, "icon" is  a cool word.^_^
