The most important historical event

What is the most important historical event in China? It is the Revolution of 1911. I will give you this answer without hesitating if you ask me the upper question. This is a Chinese bourgeois democratic revolution which was led by the reversed Dr. Sun Yet-Sen who is called the father of China. Someone may argue about this. But I have sufficient reasons supporting this to persuade you.
The most persuasive point of my view is that this revolution overthrew the Qing Dynasty. This action has a very important meaning in China. The Qing Dynasty means not only a dynasty but also a Caesarism  period during which only one emperor governed a whole country. The success of this revolution ended this kind of Caesarism political system which had longed over two thousand years in China.
The second reason for my point is that a new kind of political system which was called republic political system was established after this revolution. This is a kind of democratic political system which was verified a much better political system in European and American. We are much later than these countries. But we started.
To be frankly, the last but not the least important reason is that China entered a fresh period after this revolution. Although we entered chaos period of a stratocracy society and suffered a lot from the war between different warlords, this is a kind of transitional politics in the process of old feudal politics collapsing and new democratic politics not having been founded yet. This revolution is a great attempt of republic politics.
Based on this reasons I insist that the Revolution of 1911 which was leaded by Sun Yet-Sen can be as the most important historical event which had a major impact on my country.
