Hello, everyone!
    I am writing this article to encourage myself to continue studying English hard. I hope you can give me some advice on this passage. Thanks!
    The other day I went to the English corner and met a guy. We chatted and his English is so perfect that I felt embarrassed to speak to him in English. One important reason for this is that I am studying for the doctor’s degree while he is only a sophomore. I have learned English 4 more years than him, but my English is much poorer than his. At that moment I made up my mind and told myself “I have to study English hard.”
   He told me the way he practiced English. He speaks English with his roommates and he asks his friends who come over to his room to talk to his in English. Besides, he listens to BBC for an hour every day and imitates. Nowadays more and more people like American English, but he insists that British English sounds much more beautiful. After listening to his story about English learning, I heart-felt think that he is really strong-minded. Before I have been to the English corner too, and every time I say to myself I need to practice speaking English. And I even made a plan: listen to English broadcast, dictate and then imitate it; besides, I will read English for at least half an hour every day. However, unfortunately, I don’t have strong will and I cannot persevere in implementing the plan. Sometimes I really feel ashamed of myself.
    Herein, I write this passage with the purpose of finding someone who has enough perseverance to study English together with me  and we can encourage or help each other.

Good suggestions seem fit for you always do not.  Make sure where what you think your weakness lies is more important-- writing, comprehension or anywhere else? And then try to do some specific practice, it will work.

English is English, learn to use it for the sake of English.
