seldom 的意思是“很少。难得。”我们要表达”很少、难得做某事“时常常就会想到这个词，但是以英语为母语的人很少使用“seldom” 他们常说“not very often (不是经常、很少)，听上去会比较自然。

English: I don’t go to swimming very often. (√)







   Chinglish: I seldom have the chance to talk to a foreigner. (X)
