胡锦涛今参观波音飞机制造厂 (Chinese President Tours Boeing Plant Today)

中国国家主席胡锦涛继续对美国的四天访问，星期三他将参观飞机制造业巨头波音公司的制造厂。几天前，北京宣布购买80架波音客机的协议，总值大约50亿美元。胡锦涛星期二抵达美国西北部的华盛顿州，并与电脑软件巨头微软公司创建人比尔.盖茨一起参观微软的总部。

胡锦涛将在星期三晚些时候前来美国首都华盛顿，星期四在白宫会见美国总统布什。预期双方的会谈将集中讨论美国要求中国改革汇率、中国的人权纪录、贸易以及北韩和伊朗的核计划等问题。


Chinese President Hu Jintao is to tour a manufacturing plant of the aviation giant Boeing today (Wednesday) as part of his four-day visit to the United States. His visit to the plant in the northwestern state of Washington comes days after Beijing announced a deal to purchase 80 Boeing jets valued at around five-billion dollars. Mr. Hu arrived in Washington state Tuesday and toured the headquarters of U.S. computer software giant Microsoft with company founder Bill Gates.

Hu Jintao travels to Washington D.C. later today, and meets Thursday with President Bush at the White House. Those talks are expected to focus on U.S. demands that China reform its currency, China's human rights record, trade, and the nuclear programs of North Korea and Iran.
