　　索尼推迟发布PS3游戏机Sony to delay the launch of PS3 game console

　　索尼（Sony）表示，将把新的PlayStation 3游戏机（PS3）的发布时间推迟至11月初，因为用于下一代视频游戏机的蓝光DVD（Blu-ray DVD）技术在开发方面存在问题。

　　Sony said it would delay the release of its new PlayStation 3 until early November because of problems in the development of Blu-ray DVD technology used in the next generation video game console.

　　索尼电脑娱乐公司（Sony Computer Entertainment）总裁、PlayStation游戏机之父久多良木（Ken Kutaragi）昨日表示，推迟PS3的发布时间，一定程度上是由于索尼希望在其中融入“现有的最佳技术”。

　　Ken Kutaragi， Sony Computer Entertainment president and father of the PlayStation， said yesterday the delay was partly due to Sony‘s desire to incorporate “the best available technology”。
