We all have spotted the truth that more and more college students graduate from colleges to hunt jobs, so all of us get to believe that it is more and more difficult to get a job and some believe that the extension for higher education has leveled down university standards. So as a senior in a college you may feel nervous. Now I want to convince you that the situation is not that bad, not as bad as you believe. I graduated from a common university with bachelor’s degree, but my job hunting experience will definitely assure you that the task is not that tough.
When I was in the fourth year of my college life, I wanted to attend the GAE (graduate admission examination), at the mean time I wanted to get a good job. So I went to talents hunting meetings with my classmates. The first opportunity came from a small biopharmaceutical company. My roommate also my best friend went to the same company, they decided to employ me for I could answer their questions that are some basis for my major. My friend was a little nervous that day and he has not pass CET 4 at that time. I had passed band 6 then. The interview context was a little long but not difficult at all. It has been more than two years now, I can not remember the entire procedure. Here are some steps of it.
First, they let me type a file and examined my typing speed.
Second, they let me retrieve an essay on pharmacy.
Third, they give me a short article written in English and let me translate it into Chinese.
The next, they led me to their lab and tested me some basic operation.
Then the boss talked with me about the salary.
I held the view at that time that it was hard to find a job so I asked a salary about 1200 per month, the boss agreed happily. (The company situated in Harbin)
At last I refused the offer.
I have attended other interviews successfully, then I came here, a professional college, the fourth boss agreed to employ me. I choose this college for the salary is comparatively high, maybe not high for you. And the environment is good, convenient for learning. |
