Poetry: The Glider-like Bats
The Glider-like BatsSuddenly I hear glider-like bats gliding past,
Breaking the solumn silence and tranquility of night.
Their hands strech out as wings through theair,
With slowly-beating pulses nothing do they fear.
Beholding the leaves high on the branches hanging,
I wonder how many of them are bats sleeping.
Gliders passing by my window at mid-night,
Strong power and pride I feel in theirflight.
Catching pests as they patrol their territory sky,
With agile sense and steer that make their game terrify.
闲来无事写的英文诗,主要描绘傍晚蝙蝠猎食的形象,敬请指教。
