“readable” or “can be pre-read”?

When asking for and buying a book in our forum, the book owner or downloader wants the “可试读”. Is it “readable” or “can be pre-read”?

Neither.

可试读--> "Free trail" , "can be downloaded on a free trail basis", or "can be read on a free trail basis".

Note: readable=something that is clear enough to be read.

Pre-read=read before something happens. E.g. Students are urge to pre-read tomorrow's lecture materials before coming to class.
