请问这两句英语如何理解?
下面是网上下载的《2008新东方考研英语高频词组》中的两个例句，本人水平有限，不知如何理解？希望有老师能指点一下。Plese feel assured we will abide by our promise.
I told him if he withdrew it was on his own account.
尤其是第二句，句子成分我都分不清了。谢谢各位·！·

我想可以这样分析：Plese feel assured， we will abide by our promise.
I told him if he withdrew it was on his own account.
if he withdrew， it was on his own account.
现在应该知道了吧？
withdrew不及物动词

第一句好理解：请放心，我们将遵守我们的承诺。觉得第二句应该是这样的
I told him + 间接宾语丛句
状语丛句(if he withdrew ) + 主句(it was on his own account)
我告诉他，他要是离开，就是为自己着想。 谢谢楼上两位老师。前几天值班，这两天不知为何上不了这个网站。所以今天才看到两位的解答，让我茅塞顿开。
