WALL STREET JOURNAL SHAKES UP TOP EDITORS
The Wall Street Journal yesterday announced a shake-up of top editors as the future ownership of the paper and its parent company, Dow Jones, remains in doubt after a $5bn takeover offer from News Corp.The changes, which involve the reassignment of several senior editors, are a sweeping move by Marcus Brauchli, new managing editor, to remake the Journal.
They were described as an effort to marry more closely the paper's print and online properties and streamline the editing process.
