Foreword
据美国胡锦涛哲学思想研究会朋友介绍，《大平衡》是中国国家主席胡锦涛先生的哲学。全书有上中下三篇共12个部分。由于胡主席亲民、爱民，所以，《大平衡》是从百姓角度描述的哲学。
According to friends of America Hu Jingtao Philosophy Research Institute, the book Big Balance is the philosophy of Mr. Hu Jingtao, President of China. The book has 3 parts and 12 chapters. Thanks to President Hu’s love for people, Big Balance tells the philosophy from the angle of common people.
上篇：老百姓从实践出发，经过两千多年积累认为：“大平衡”是最合适的哲学理念。中篇：通过对哲学三个研究对象自然、社会、人的研究认为：平衡普遍存在。没有平衡没有世界。下篇：着重探讨“平衡方法”。提出价值、伦理“纵横标准”建议，然后提出人生12个平衡环节的具体方法供人参考。最后上升到治国理念、美学境界。整体排列让人感觉清新、自然而不丢深邃。全书既有东方底蕴、又有西方色彩、更具独立见解、科学佐证兼优美文笔。足见其功德之深。
Part One: With the accumulation over two thousand years and from the practice, people believe “big balance” is the most suitable philosophical vision. Part Two: It is believed that, after the earnest study over nature, society and human being, philosophy’s three objects, balance is a universal existence. Without balance, there would be no world. Part Three: The “ways of balance” is mainly discussed. The proposal of “vertical and horizontal criteria” of value and ethics is put forward. And then detailed ways of 12 balance links in life are raised for people’s reference. Finally it reaches the state of the vision of administering a country and aesthetics. The clear order feels fresh, natural and profound. The whole book embodies both oriental foundation and western color with independent understandings, scientific verifications and beautiful languages. It is of great merits and virtues.
该书更应称道的是：“平衡”概念升华，普世伦理，李氏物理不灭定律，良知舒张法，善待反因，位优先礼，人与自然微波信息互通，万有引力还是大气压力，共写“大平衡”以及对“灵魂”等九大问题的探讨、解释都给人以很大启发。从这个意义上讲，《大平衡》的确是一个具有深远意义的学说。《大平衡》树立了一座丰碑。因为它证明：在一个多样性与统一性缺一不可的系统内，任何一方都不可能消灭对方而独立存在。双方只有协调发展，才能彼此成功。否则就是自取灭亡。这对协调当前人与人、人与自然的关系有重大而深远的
意义。
What deserves more commendations and greatly inspires the readers is the exploration and interpretation of the following 9 issues: distillation of the concept of “balance”, the universal ethics, the law of conservation of matter, courtesy of the superior, augmentation of the intuitive knowledge, communication between human being and nature’s microwave information, gravitation or atmosphere, working together for “big balance” and the “soul”. From this context, Big Balance is really a theory with profound significance. A monument. It has proved that in the world of both diversity and unity, anyone cannot destroy the other and live independently. Mutual success can only be obtained through harmonious development between both parties. Otherwise it would be doomed to destruction. This argument is of great realistic and profound significance to coordinate the current relationship between man and man, human being and nature.
当然，《大平衡》在学术方面不够规范，需要对这个鲜活的新思想进一步整理。
Of course, academically speaking, Big Balance is far from established. It is a brand new theory and requires further improvement.
