A Fat For Wipe Lips

   A long time ago,there was live a man who thought to be a Xiucai,or scholar in the village, South China. He was very poor because gamble was his only indulgence,so that his family was forced to eating gruel every day.

  Xiucai knew he could not do well and he wanted to save face. He bought joint of fat for seem poor and pedantic in front of others, hung it over door lintel after boiled. His houshold used the fat for wiped the lips on a full stomach every time, in order to show off they had meat when they went out. Every day seemed just like the others.

  One day, Xiucai’wife dropped the fat on her foot after wipe her lip used by it, because she made a careless mistake.the chicken pounced on its prey and carried the fat off immediately. Xiucai’children ran after the poultry and raised a cry of warning,“help！fat for wipe lips pecked by chicken！！”

  Xiucai shout out in great suspense,“tell your mother to chase it too！！”

  “Mother can’t, It's time for your dress trousers today,she has nothing!” children responsed.

   很久以前，华南地区的一条村子里住有一个秀才，他因为嗜赌而变得很穷，全家整天以粥裹腹。

   为了不在别人面前显得穷酸，秀才便买了一块肥猪肉，煮熟后挂起，每餐饭后全家人即用此肥猪肉把嘴巴涂抹得油光可鉴，出门以炫耀自家有肉吃，日日如此。

  一天，秀才老婆用肥猪肉抹油嘴唇后，不小心把肉块掉在地下，马上被鸡啄去，孩子们见状出屋追赶，厉声疾呼：“不好啦！擦嘴油着鸡啄去了！！”

  秀才急得大叫：“那快叫你妈也去追啊！！”

  孩子们回答说:“今天裤子轮到你穿，妈妈没裤穿，出不来啊！！！”
