?i have watched mi3 this week. i dont know how much interest and passion you have put into this film, but to me, it is full of shit. i mean, despite the good performance from the eye candy maggie Q and the funny big black fella Ving Rhame, (Jonathan Rhys Meyers wasnt able to show almost anything at all, all he did was throwing some italian on the vatican street. unlike in the movie Match point, which i think it is an excellent movie.) tom only did a passable performance in this film, it is far far far far far away to a neat film acting. (yeah, u can argue that he was able to perform tears when he saw his wife got shot. please~) i mean, this is the third series right? should he add something that more fresh instead of just to have sex in the hospital storeroom after a quick'n'simple wedding? (the scene immediately give me a recall of Independent day ID4. where will smith got married and brought his wife a toy ring.)
and the story line is rubbish. first of all, the bad guy owen davian was planning to get a bio weapon from chinese bio lab, and then sell it to a mid east country that doesnt have bio-weapon, so that US army could have a reason to invade that country. and therefore, he co-operate an IMF agent musgrave (the one gave the mission to Ethan hunt aka tommy cruise) to set up a trap on ethan hunt, so that ethan hunt could steal it for them. yeah, that is what i figure out the entire background by discussing with my friend. read it again, i mean, wtf! does US need an excuse to invade an mid-east country? second, why the hell did they spent all the money and effort jsut let ethan to do that?(for instance, called 1 heavy helicopter, 1 jet fighter, missles, high skill special forces to attack ethan on a bridge) this doesnt make any sense. i mean, with this kind of money and sources, they could use on a chinese bio scientist and let him steal for them! not to mension they really think chinese government is stupid enough to set up a bio lab contains WMD in the mid of Shanghai? ffs...
and vatican? use drills and bombs in the draining tunnel and no one notice that? man, i am sure their work will generate more noice and shock than the plumber's work.
to conclude, storyline is shit, cast is big, and all u need to focus is watching things got blow up, like that nice car.
one more thing, the ending is unf...believable. a nurse never shoot before is capable of holding a pistol with singal hand and without aiming the target, knocked down 2 highly experienced agents. and then what? been elec shocked on the ground, after a few punchs on the chest, ethan opened his eyes and quickly sit up and grab the guns! i lmao |
