It's the year of tiger before you know it. Another new and the same semester has come. Life will go on as usual. It ruitinely starts from a gathering, gift money received and instructions accepted. My boss gave me an impression of her seeming menopause. Her thoughts are in disorder and prone to complaints. It seems to me life always comes unexpectedly or unprepared, putting me in a mess and discomfort.

Today is the Chinese Lantern Festival. As usual, I had the traditional food-Tangyuan in the morning. Entertainment activities will be held downstairs in the yard in the evening, but it must be fun for kids, not for me any more. This reminds me of my childhood in the countryside. Every child held a variety of lanterns in the evening, like stars in the sky, set firecrackers and made a rice weed bunch, lit to dispel so-call devils. The distant memory has become farther and farther away.

12 newspapers published the same editorials on Monday, expressing their desire for the reform of Hukou system, that is, residence permit system. Just as the editorial indicates, every citizen is born free and chooses to migrate somewhere freely. The apprarently dated system, however, restricts the free flow of people, and at same time, is not aligned with the principles of market economy. I'm in favor of abolishing the system gradually and same equality between rural and urban residents.

Yesterday I sat in for the theory test for driving test. Unexpectedly I scored a full mark. When I saw so many people took the test a sencond time, I somewhat felt puzzled about it. In my eyes, the test is not difficult to crack.

Today I watched the press conference of Premier Wen Jiaobao on TV. Premier Wen answered the questions of journalists in a refined and detailed manner. There were a lot of hot issues talked about in his answer, like domestic and international economic situation, climate change, sino-us relations, Chinese monetary policy, Taiwan and Hongkong issures, etc. In his speech, he said equality and justice are more glorious than sunlight. But how to ensure equalityand justice is a long way to go.

Today I was involved in interviewing prospective MBA students as a shorthand. A day's work is exausting and dull. Most students' English was so poor that they barely made themselves understood. It's hard to imagine how they cope with the academic studies in the MBA program.
To my dismay and surprise, they gave me only 300 yuan as a reward for my whole day's work. The three interviewer got 1000 yuan or so. It's really a shame for me.

Today I took the road test first third time and finally passed it. I felt very nervous at first and forgot to tie the safety belt. The policeman seemed not to notice it. I was so frightened that I was all wet all of sudden when I was aware of it! Now I feel very happy to get the driving license after a year's effort.
