ScanKromsator Processing of the scanned pages of books program ScanKromsator
1. Open ScanKromsator 'Om scanned files (we work on a book Facing pages scanned with a resolution of 300 dots per inch and 8-bit depth). To do this, select Programs menu File - Open ... window opens with a list of files ... (see picture)
  
2. Then sort the files in a table (if there is a need), selecting the desired option from the menu (see picture).

3. Highlight the last file, and then pressing and holding down the Shift, highlight the first file (so all files open to us in the right order - see. Yellow highlighting marker in the picture).
  
4. Now the program has opened files from scanned pages (marker in the picture is circled list of files that we have just opened and that more will work). In the main window open to view the first (or selected) file from the list.
  
5. Now you need to pre-arrange the markers, which will cut unnecessary pages, such as black bands between the two pages, black bands outside the text, etc. To do this from the Edit menu, choose option Draft kromsate ... (see picture).
  
6. Further, given that we Turn the pages we need to split apart, must choose the option Split pages (it is highlighted in yellow marker in the picture). If you're single, but not the turn, choose this option is not required. Now click on OK.
  
7. Begins processing files and automatic placement markers on the pages.
  
8. After completion of the process we get a result as the following figure. Immediately noticeable that markers placed perfectly (topical area marked in yellow). Ceilings and side - have the right location, and to tighten the bottom so that the markers were at a distance of approximately 0 , 5 cm from the text (in our case - from the page numbering).
  
9. To drag the bottom marker, press the cutter (highlighted in the picture) and drag it lower horizontal marker at the desired distance from the test. Such manipulation is done for all pages that handle the program, if the markers are placed correctly.
  
10. There are cases that after the automatic placement of incisors file names listed in bold. This means that the program failed to correctly identify the location for the marker. In such cases highlight the desired options and set all the checkboxes in front of option Automargins, as described below.
  
11. Then proceed to set up processing of files - select the tab Files.
  
12. Now specify the directory where processed files will be stored (the folder you want to create in advance).
  
13. Now increase the image resolution to improve the quality of the black and white pictures. This change indicated a resolution of 300 by 600 dpi. Color choose black and white (B / W). Method of image compression and resolution of input (Input DPI) leave unchanged.
  
14. Quality. Moving to a gray image processing options and open tab Quality.
  
15. To improve image quality (in our case) was selected check boxes in front of words (Enhance image - to improve the image, Smooth - Smoothing, Blur - Blur), and raise the value to dviyok (as shown below). Each box must ask, hold down Ctrl, to selected options applied to all scanned images (after each pressing vystrybuvatyme warning - you need to click OK).

17. Correct low contrast Window opens, where the tab Background cleaner we change the following parameters: for Cleaner passes set to 1, for Method choose 2D, set the box in front of words Correct low contrast
  
18. Depending on how light or dark is zaskanovana page, you can change settings making it in black and white. To do this, go to Convert and favorites from the drop down menu select the option. In our case, we reserve the option Normal.
  
19. Now you can try to check what is the original page with the selected treatment settings. At this stage we need to process only one page and is only after we satisfied with the result, you can begin processing all files. Process — Current file. To test a finished look turn, choose the following: Process - Current file.

21. The quality of the source file suit us, so we can start processing all the pages. Choosing this Process - All. Now begins processing files. Processing time may be rather long: it depends on the number of processing parameters, the number of pages, the resolution of source images, etc. Processing a single page can take a minute or more (this also depends on your computer's processor), and a few hundred - it may take 5-10 hours. To ensure that your computer is not impeded by processing files, if you want to do something in parallel, you can change the priority of the process in Task Manager (press the key combination Ctrl + Alt + Del, Processes tab select the process named sk.exe, press the right click on the name of the process and select the menu Priority - Below average). After these manipulations program actually work in the background, using only free computer resources.
22. After processing the pages you want to watch again rezultamy program. If a page is processed poorly, you can close the window and see the results of another to pick up some settings for this page to the original file was better. While browsing the results pages can be edited in part: to provide certain image areas, move them, copy, delete, etc. After viewing all the results can close the program.

我使用5.93版。一点点经验：
打开所有图像(sort by name,保证顺序)，到最后一页，“三根火柴棍”的第一个全选。

上图5“草图切割”，切割线调整到页面边缘(或你想调整的位置，可以逐页调整)。

选择一些处理参数，file--profiles，fill from current，新建profile(命名)，再调节，save ，apply。
不断的尝试参数，save，apply。


一本书有很多斑点，我的参数。反正参数依次增加的方式，尝试最小值，我发现有些书用safe的命令选项，比较好。据说，这种命令智能区分文本区和非文本区。

处理大图的全面步骤：

不断的尝试参数，save，apply。
2、软件右上角的切刀位置划勾，调整到页边缘。 （五个勾，建议逐一调整）；取消所有划过的勾。右键该框，选择菜单命令“Copy cutter's state to...”，菜单中选"select all"，选"All down"，按OK。这样就关掉所有切刀。
选择automargin，然后，右面的勾去掉。四个框逐一取消，逐一右键应用到所有marked。
3、处理所有。
4、如果有些图想要划定图形区，一页一页单独处理。曾经试过整体转换pdf（需要下载插件，参考monday2000说明http://www.djvu-soft.narod.ru/kromsator/eng.htm）。也可以尝试存为bmp。（我没有试过。）
5、因为96dpi变到300dpi，或300dpi变到600dpi，页面变大。我用CEP缩小到65%(或50%)+单色，用Finereader纠偏。
