在做考研的模拟题中，答案是 put simplely 而不能说speak simplely,我很纳闷啊？？？？？？？speak generally 是可以用的，换个副词就不行，why?????????请高手明示。。。

I'd just throw in my two cents worth.

This is what we call English usage.

Native English people usually say put (it) simply, instead of simplely, or speak briefly. There's no reason, or logic, whatsoever. It's all about custom. For further clarification, you may as well look up Oxford Collocations Dictionary.
