学习英语这么多年，发现英文里面有很多奇怪的句子与词条，
比如 please come to the rest
     go fly a kite?
大家知道是什么意思不？

1. Please come to the rest?
Supposed to be come to rest, which means
stop moving; settle Example: the lift came to rest at the first floor.
A similar pattern is come to rest on sth.

2. fly a kite means
2.1 informal, figurative try sth. out to test public opinion Example: I thought that I would fly a kite for a somewhat unfashionable theory.
2.2 historical raise money by an accommodation bill.

Please let me know if I get them all wrong.
