Money or degree?

When I was only a little girl, my parents asked me :”what do you want to do in the further?” ,I answered quickly and proudly:” I will get a doctor degree ”,then ,my parents smiled and satisfied. People at that time believed that one could be successful as long as keeping study.
As time went by, things changed in my mind, does the higher degree we get, the better we can prove ourselves? I begin to doubt since I was a fresh in university. Cause most young person in my age has finished college major class and got the degree, which means he can make a living by himself. At this time, taking a higher degree should be thought twice.
Some people insist on accepting school education as much as possible. they believe only in the university that people can take a deeply study on the subject and have enough time. Indeed, university is the place that you can come close to the top class of the study as well as get touch with new technology and theory, bringing you into a higher level. To some extent, degree means money. As far as the serious conditions of employment, holding higher degree can get more choice.
On the other hand, someone would like to working first, especially getting a once job. The explanation is that you can get a degree whenever you want. Moreover, people also can learn things at work. Practical experience is important, too. There are example in my college, two of my classmates gave up the chance of being post graduate students, instead they accepted great jobs.
As far as I know, lots of students intend to take a degree before taking part in work mostly because of the fierce competition. That’s why the entrance exams for postgraduate schools is so popular. Just as people saying:”It’s worth trying”. No matter what happens, take good advantage of time, vigor and wisdom. Nothing is more important than these.
