If someone gave me a gift days ago, and I want to thank them for that,
what should I say?
Thank you for the gift you gave me.
Thank you for the gift from before.
Thank you for the previous gift.
Are these three sentences ok or awkward, especially for the last two?
Thanks a lot.
Just say: Thanks for the gift.
Or, you can be more specific. If your friend gave you a car, you can say, "Thanks for the car."
If your friend gave you a book, you can say, "Thanks for the book."
