Me "or" Myself?

Hi,
I'd like to have your comments on the following pairs of sentences in
terms of grammaticality:
1.1. I told stories about myself.
1.2. I told stories about me.
2.1. I heard stories about myself.
2.2. I heard stories about me.

I told stories about myself.
I heard stories about me.
I think these two are better.
Anyhow, it doesn't mean the rest are wrong grammatically.
