读研，一直是让人自豪、引人羡慕的事，但近日，中国青年报社会开展了一项调查显示，超过50%的人认为现在读硕士研究生不值，更有人放弃保研机会，投身工作。专家建议，读研还是工作，应根据个人情况而定。那么，“保研”怎么说呢？

A senior university student named Li Tong said she had recently turned down a postgraduate recommendation from her university in Wuhan, Hubei Province.

\"I am fed up with my life of reading books for pleasure while professors teach on the stage,\" Li said. \"For me, graduate studies are like wasting another two years of my youth.\"

武汉一所高校的学生李彤最近刚刚自愿放弃了学校的保研资格，她说，“对我来说，大学四年，已经厌倦了老师在台上讲课，我在下面看闲书的状态。对我来说，读研无异于又浪费两年青春，不值得。”

这里，“postgraduate recommendation”就是“保研”或称“推研”。“研究生学习”可以说“postgraduates study/experience”；“研究生入学考试”为“postgraduate qualification exam”；“研究生入学”是“postgraduate enrollments”。
