Heart to heart 就是「心对心」；那么，A heart-to-heart talk又是甚么意思呢？
原来这是指两人很认真、很坦率地谈论着某件事情的意思。例如，当你的下属上班时老是迟到，你想找他来你的办公室进行一次A heart-to-heart talk，即是你要与对方好好的谈一谈了。
A heart-to-heart talk翻译到中文就是「坦诚地说」，或者是「促膝谈心」。

除了与专业人士倾谈，对象也可以是家人或朋友。
