Got (past tense and a past participle of get) is used, unnecessarily but not incorrectly, in idiomatic constructions* with has and have.
  Examples:
  I have got to go.
  He has got a bad temper,

  However, sometimes they are incorrectly reduced to:
  I got to go.
  He got a bad temper.
  Remember that in such and similar cases it is got, but not has or have that is dispensable.
  'I have to go' and 'He has a bad temper' are correct.
