网友：胡老师,听说你今年也给暑期班学员上课,请问你是上的写作课么?
胡敏：今年暑假我和往常一样也在各个班有专题讲座，一直以来我最喜欢做的事情是跟同学们讲课，战斗在讲台上是我人生最大的快乐。由于我管理工作繁忙不能够做到给大家进行更多的课堂交流，一直以来我主要的任务是培训老师、研发课程体系和教材，让更多的老师在课堂上传播我们对雅思的领悟和研究成果，帮助大家迅速提高英语水平和雅思成绩。感到欣慰的是在这些年一批又一批的雅思老师在茁壮成长，越来越多的雅思老师加盟新航道团队，更令人感到兴奋的是这个暑假新航道的雅思班都爆满，而且我们特意在八月份新增加两个6.5保分班。我可以给大家承诺的是在每一个雅思班上我都会给大家讲课，专题是透析雅思希望能够给大家最新的最前沿的、最直接的雅思考试指导。
网友：hello mark! I speak fluntly in English, but I still can not get a high mark in speaking in the IELTS test,could you tell me how to improve spoken English quickly? Thanks!
Mark：Well, you don't speak English fluently, otherwise you would get a high IELTS score! Many of my students ask how they can improve their English quickly. There are two possibilities. First, go to an English speaking country. People learn a language faster in an environment where that particular language is spoken. The second is to find yourself an English speaking boy-/girlfriend! Now, if those possibilities are not available to you, try taking a course where English is used, such as our English Speaking Club at New Channel.

网友：请问老师，雅思每年就只是写作部分发生变化吗？其它部分是否也会调整？
王渊源：雅思的试题听说读写每不断地在调整，但是出题规律以及评分标准很少会有变化。包括写作也不是每年都有变化。最近写作的评分标准被调整，口语和写作也开始使用半分制。这些调整不是定期的， 它们代表雅思官方想让雅思考试变得更完善。
为了保证雅思分数的可信度，雅思官方不太可能会对雅思考试进行特别大的改变。如果会有大的改变，官方会在发生变化之前的很长时间提前公布。
无论是大的变化还是小的变化，新航道都会在课堂上和网站上让学员了解雅思考试的最新动态。：）
网友： Mark你好！请问在雅思口语考试中您觉得中国学生最常见的错误有哪些呢？我们应该怎样克服和解决呢？谢谢！
Mark：A very common mistake is not answering the question. Many students don't listen carefully and respond accordingly. As I tell my students, answer the question the examiner asked, not the question your teacher/book told you the examiner would ask! Another problem is that many students give short answers that don't express exact meaning. For example \"Animals are our friends.\" Which animals? Your pet dog? Sure. A wild tiger? I don't think so. Tell the examiner exactly what you mean. Of course, the problem here is that many students can't do this due to a lack of vocabulary.
网友：口语考试有100多个主题,难道每个主题都要熟练掌握吗?有没有重点题?能否给我们预测一下!
Mark：Well, as I see it, you have two possibilities. The first is to be familiar with all possible topics. This takes time, but means that you should get a good score first time. The second possibility is that you only practise a few topics and rely on luck when you take the test. If you trust to luck, you might take the test several times.
网友：我们那个城市几乎没有外国人,不知道要找何种途径在日常生活中进行提高口语练习?
Mark：Practising with native speakers is obviously better, but if this possibility is not open to you, you'll have to practise with Chinese friends. Many universities have English corners and there must be plenty of other people in your city who have the same problem as you. Go out and meet them - make some new friends.

网友：我想知道,要通过雅思考试究竟要多少词汇才够?
胡敏：雅思、托福等国外考试不像我们国内四、六考研，一般来说是不会给大家提供词汇表的。所以大家在词汇学习方面感到比较茫然，但是我们可以非常明确的告诉大家，任何考试一定是依据一个词汇表来出题的。只不过是雅思、托福的词汇表不向考生公开而已，作为像新航道这样的考试辅导机构有责任专门研究开发词汇表。而研发的依据就是到目前为止出版的雅思真题，研究并总结出这些试题里出现频率较高的词汇提供给大家学习。最近，新航道出版的《剑桥雅思词汇精选》这本书花费了作者近三年的时间采集词汇和例句，所有的例句95%是来自剑1至剑5的试题，总共收录三千核心词汇，并配有英国口音的录音。所以大家在学习这本书的时候不仅仅是在背单词，而且还能够练习听力，还可以复习真题的内容因为每个例句都是从真题中精心挑选的，大家只要翻开这本书的任何一页看任何一个单词的注释，就知道我们是用心在帮助大家解决词汇的难题。雅思词汇一般来说掌握七千左右，雅思词汇主要有两大类：一类是日常生活词汇；一类是学术生活词汇；相对而言所涉及到的词汇还是比较集中的。背单词最重要的是要不断重复的背，并且辅助以大量的阅读。在阅读过程中遇见你所背过的单词，你一定会有一种成就感。著名的语言学家威尔金斯说过：“没有词汇万万不能。”所以词汇是整个语言交流的基础，雅思考试也不例外。
网友：我的同学说,每个雅思考官在考场上其实都是非常累了,要如何出彩才能让他们眼前一亮获得高分呢?
Mark：Examiners currently have a lot of candidates. To make your self stand out from the crowd, make sure that you answer the examiner's questions and develop them. Many of my students try to give a different answer to those given by other candidates. This is a good idea, but not necessary. Examiners are primarily concerned about quality.
网友：胡老师，我想请问一下雅思作文７分需掌握多少词汇啊？我是九月考试，接下来的时间在作文方面我该怎么准备啊？谢谢！
胡敏：你的词汇量大并不一定能够保证你的作文分数就会高，写作的关键第一、是作文要切题；第二、是篇章结构要清晰；第三、词汇要丰富而不是故意堆积过多的偏难或者生涩的词汇或满篇都是婴儿词汇；第四、语法要精确和句子结构要变化多端，既要有简单句也要有复杂句，一味的简单句或一味的复杂句都不可能得到高分，特别是我们同学驾驭复杂句子的能力比较有限的时候，所以作文要得七分应该在刚才提到的四个方面努力，而不只是局限于词汇一个方面。词汇的丰富是指的运用同义词、近义词、反义词、派生词甚至必要的重复来实现的。在写作的时候不要轻易的下笔，头脑里面应该根据刚才提到的手段和方法进行词汇的选择。

网友：口语提高的关键是什麽?你们外国人是否知道学生在背口语模版,但我没有背,只是觉得这样就是好的表达方法,我们不知道你们是如何来区分的?
Mark：The best way to improve is by practising. Simple. To be honest, I think that fewer students are memorising model answers nowadays. It has taken a long time for candidates in China to realise that reciting model answers from books is a bad idea, but at last it is being widely understood. There are several ways to tell if a candidate is reciting a memorised answer (and I'm not going to broadcast those ways!). Just believe me when I say that giving a natural, honest, personal response is best.
网友：新航道的新招简上有7分和6.5保分班,这两个班有哪些区别?
王渊源：首先，我们要了解7分和6.5分的区别。7分是一流大学（如剑桥，牛津）和一些特定专业（如法律）要求的分数，而对想进入大部分的大学和专业的同学来说，6.5分就够了。所以，如果想上一流大学，或者选的专业的分数要求较高，那么新航道的雅思真题静讲7分班应该是最好的选择。
至于课堂上的区别，7分班的课时多一些，它也包括两次免费的作文批改，是针对高端人群和有高分需求的人设计的。
网友：Good afternoon,most people say oral and writind are related.But why last time I got 7 in oral,5 in writing.please explain it.Thank you.
Mark：I think that the questions used in the speaking and writing tests can be very similar. This doesn't mean that candidate will produce answers of a similar quality in spoken and in written form. For instance, in IELTS, a spoken answer should be much shorter than a written one. This means that a candidate might not be able to develop and answer in writing, but can give a shorter one in spoken form.

网友：well, do we really need to heat things up before attend the IELTS, such as recite somethings whatever.
Mark：Reciting is a very bad idea, as I have indicated in an earlier answer.
网友：Hello, i am from beijing studying aboard at the moment, i took the the IELTS tesk last time got 6 overal which is not satisfied for my higher education, meanwhile i heard alot, massive learning organization in IELTS, people say it is quite useful, teacher teaches some skills of how to find the answer and iam lack of that, so the question is how can i get involed in some lesson, e.g there some vocal file which teachers introduce the skills where can i find the such thing, do i need to become a member of that
Mark：I'm sure that there is IELTS distance learning available on the Internet, but I'm not sure about the quality. IELTS courses are not only operating in China, so I'm sure that you can find something where you are studying. Don't get misled by the idea that a few skills can suddenly increase your score. If you are abraod, you have plenty of chance to practise.
网友：雅思考试一定要在国内通过吗?我觉得到国外可能更加有环境好一点,能否先出去再通过考试呢?这样可行吗?
Mark：You can take IELTS in almost any country and the results are valid worldwide. Going abroad for some practise before taking the test is an excellent idea (though expensive!). It's up to you!
网友：胡敏老师，问您一个非常敏感的问题，希望您不要回避，最近新行道的老师很频繁的做客无忧雅思网，是不是袮补因为张皓老师和刘洪波老师离去所造成的影响？
