Is it necessary to study hard?

Definitely not, study smartly rather than hard.

To study is to educate yourself by yourself, it is a lifelong process and its success depends on your intelligence, knowledge stocks, interests, efforts, efficiency, time spent and many other factors. Efforts (what else does hard mean?) is only one among those factors contributing to the success. However, something is wrong if you have to study hard. Probably your intelligence is not high enough to understand the learning materials, or you are under so great external pressure that you are risking of losing attention and interest, or it is just a simple fact: you have not prerequisite knowledge and experience. Whatever the situation is, the truth is the same: learning smartly instead of hard. Learning smartly means that learning itself is your end other than means to other ends, therefore, you have internal motivation to satisfy your ever increasing curiosity. Learning smartly also means that you enjoy the process rather than the results so you can maintain the sustainable interest. Learning smartly finally means that you can manage all the issues relating to your learning life, money, time, space, job, family, boss, etc., so you really benefit from learning.

Is it necessary for us to study hard?

Folk says: One is never too old to learn. Especially in today's world, most people have to learn whether you like or not, and whether you are workers or students. It is necessary for you to study hard, but also know how to study efficiently. Doing it better is the most important.

Do right thing you should do in your different period of life. As a student, you should study hard and know more not only for getting a better work and earning more money in the future, but also for improving yourselves. Life needs money, but not all. If you do for survival，you should need more money. However, if you do for life, there may be more things to do besides money. Study hard and work hard, then money follows.

So, as a common person, we are not Bill Gates or born in the Rockefellers, I think that study hard and work hard is important than money.

As far as I am concerned,the answer is yes .
Firstly,if one can get a GPA high enough ,he or she could have more chance to be recommended
to be a postgraduate student without entrance examination.To study hard is the only way to get a
high GPA.Secondly,With the arrival of globalization of economy,having a diplima can certaily
guarantee favorable opportunities in intense job hunting competitions.All these things need us to study hard .The hard working student can make success more easily.A uneducated person,on the other hand ,is either unable to do something new,or does it badly.
As a college student in the modern age ,I firmly believe that college is a place where we should learn how to learn.We should make full usre of every opportunity to broaden our learning and take a wide interest in computer science,foreign language,and any other practical disciplines.Only in this way can we keep on learning throughout our life time and always keep up with the times.

Is it necessary for us to study hard?

The answer is definitely YES!
But before saying the Yes or No must we give ourselves a clear answer of the other 2 related questions: 1. what should we study hard ? only those dry books and theories? Or many other lessons including practices and knowledge closely connected to our daily life? 2. what is the real measurement of a guy’s value in our modern society?
Perhaps most of us could give the similar answers. Those what we are interested in and what we need in future work and life could push ourselves to study hard regardless their difficulty in fact. Also, a man’s value lies in not only his wealth and how much money he could earn but also many other important fields, just like what he can give back to the around people, his personal qualities ,his contributions to the whole society besides the furniture, etc.
So we can not give a simple connection between the study and the money, and the hard study can give you many other invisible advantages alongside money you can earned in future.

Well, according to Mr. Moderator (斑竹) , earning money is not sort of studying...
Let's take a look into it.

Study has several meanings as a verb ( please note that I haven't labelled em as transitive, ditransitive, or intransitive ), and I'd like to list em underneath:
1. To apply one's mind purposefully to the acquisition of knowledge or understanding of (a subject).
2. To read carefully.
3. To memorize.
4. To take (a course) at a school.
5. To inquire into; investigate.
6. To examine closely; scrutinize.
7. To give careful thought to; contemplate.

Now, it become clear. How could a guy earning money without all of these?
When a man wanna achieve a goal, he always need to study his plan, his next move, to study his social relationship. He must know who is in charge and which is the best way.
So, as I as far as I could understand, studying dose not stand on the opposite side of earning money.
And for sure, higher academic scholarship dosen't mean absolutely higher income. Lots of college students entering society as a newbie, lack of social experiences, not good at communication, even not familiar with the calling rules - such as some related laws. Moreover, some of them do not esteem the elders, and wouldn't learn from seniors. How could they get their success?

To grab cash? You should study many things, and show respect.

Before answering this question, first let us think about another question: what do we live for? If you can provide a clear and definite answer to this question, maybe it’s easy for you to determine whether it is necessary for us to study hard or not.
  A man’s life is a continuous exploring process, in which he studies hard to experience all kinds of new behaviors. The moment we came into this world, we began to look at the surrounding world curiously. We want to know why there is day and night, why the sky is blue, why the fish cannot live on the land, why the sun always rises in the east and sets in the west, why there is man and woman in the world, why we have to eat everyday. Yes, we have so many questions that we imagine these questions again and again. As we grew up we began to understand these questions one after another. At the same time we also have many other questions. The whole life is a cycle of questioning and exploring, from which we know how to cherish our life, how to make our life valuable and meaningful, what is truth, goodness, and beauty, what is false, wickedness and ugly. In other words, our life is also a learning process; life-long learning is one of our educational goals, as well as our life goals. With the accumulation of our knowledge, we know more about the world, the human society, and ourselves.
  Therefore, here we can draw a conclusion that learning is part of our life, in which we can satisfy our material and spiritual needs, as well as our personal and social targets. Whether these goals can be achieved successfully mainly depends on our own abilities we acquired through learning.
  With the coming of information era, ‘knowledge is power’ is becoming more and more important. In this knowledge explosion time, we have to learn continuously, otherwise we will lag far behind and we will lose chance to fulfill our dreams, which, of course, includes money, car, house and our personal development.
  Cherish your youth, catch the chance, and then you can move the world!

Is it necessary for us to study hard?
   Today, some people seem happy and have many many money , but they do not work or study hard; Some people study hard but live in poverty. it necessary for us to study hard? This become a hot topic in our society.
   The answer seems not, but we should see something behind happy and poverty . Some people do not work hard appearance, but at back they work hard; some people do not work hard and got a lot of money because they commit guilt, these people will go to prison sooner or later; In reality, some people work hard but can't get happy lives ,maybe the methods of they study are not correct. We should see in our word ,most political leaders and business giants graduate from top universities and have doctor’s degrees,and after graduate they still learn deep into night .
  So , if you ask me this question, I will tell you the answer is positive without hesitate.

First we must distinct two type studies that in school or in work.because studying in school is only a reading, but studying in community or in work aimed at sth.

For example, University study is a part of studying in school in the learning life , it is more important that you must learn to how to transit from schools to community. As for reading ,You don’t read it useless ，You try it useful. You regret that the knowledge is too little only when you use it.Studying is not for examinations, it should be study for their own sake. If you learn you interest, it is possible that you can find its own direction.Some of the students wanted to make money, he thinks that it is more ease when earned the better, I said you very frankly. Even if it is different that you prepares to learn and learned completely, it does not matter, because the way you have been mastered.

It is necessarily between studying good and make money and personal development.In fact, such as some successful entrepreneurs is the owner or manager, Sometimes they study again , they are also directed at a profit. They wanted to make money is not just for a person, but they think of the whole enterprise, all the enterprise staff, even of the entire society, because in their shoulders saddled with many peoples and theirs relatives relaying on their wage, theirs studying associate with the employment and social and economic development and many other issues ,so he has not really self .This studying is probably the hopes of many people living. At this point , the main purpose of the study is not making money.

So you do not say that the entrepreneurs’ studyingis not associated with making money and personal development.

Reading little is not Important,but it is very indeed you must learn in society.

Is it necessary for us to study hard?
    It is difficult to say if studying hard is necessary.
    In our country, economy capabilities are not strong enough and enployment situation remains severe. So, many people think that only through studying hard can you enter into better college and then can you get a better job. But it may not be truth. Several years on, from TV, newspaper and the internet, We have been told that many students gratuated from famous college can not get their job and have to stay in home. So, famous colleges may not ensure your future.
     More, in this society, the competition is fierce and the versatile person are required. The versatile abilities include English, computer, especaily the ablity to deal with relationship between people. So, even you have high education background such as doctor degree or master degree, you just have a kind of professional ability and then you may not be competent for your task.
    On the other side, some people think that high education background perhaps can not ensure you a better job eran more money. They say that many high level intellectual earn less money than that of some ordinary people do such as businessman, enterpriser, real estate developer who may not enter college. Here, I do not advocate money worship. But money is necessary in deed because you have to surpport youself and your faminly. For example, children education and health care will spend a lot of money in our country. Often, you will fell that the money is not enough and your expense do not correspondend to your income.
   Of course, I don not think student should not study hard. I want to suggest that you should plan your future acording your personal situation. Perhaps you can not enter into famous college.But ,at least, you should enter into an ordinary college. And then, if you have special abilty such as computer talent, finacial abiltity and so on, you should exert it.
   If you want survive better in this society, several abilty as follows must be strengthen.
   1. Professional knowledge. It is a fundmental ability but not the only factor which may bring you the better life.
   2. Good character. You should be optimistic, passionate, amiable, open-minded and so on.
   3. The ability to deal with interpersonal relationship. It is the key to succeed.
   4. Other related knowledge. Except for the professional knowledge, the level in English is also important to your career.

         Is it necessary to study hard? The answer is obvious the affirmative. A talent is made up of 2% of intelligence and 98% of sweat. We are lack of Hawking's genius and we of course need to accumulate our basic knowledge and skills. In order to go to a university, we need to devote ourselves to our reading materials, which make us intelligent and full. To be public servants, we need to attend the Civil Servant's Training Courses and pass those tiresome exams, not to mention the necessary attention to the CIVIL SERVANT'S IMAGE and PROTOCOL ACCOMPLISHMENT. So as to solve the unceasing occurrence of problems relevant to our daily work, we need to cover wide range, closely connects with our present job. All these keep remind us ---- Learning is life long.
         However, only learning hard at the classroom or in the library is insufficient.
         First and foremost, we need to learn from the people around. Learn from the senior. The colleagues older than you are helpful to you on account of their precious experience. Experience keeps a dear school, but fools learn in no other. Happy are we if we learn from the misfortunes and painful lessons of others. Remember to respect and do something for the senior around you. They are lighthouses or your own Venus. Never say sort of “An old dog cannot learn new tricks” in any case, which is also my bitter lesson! Learn from everyone in your working unit. It is easy to learn something about everything, but difficult to learn everything about anything. Different people have distinct special skills. Perhaps they are Mr Know-all in their fields. Even they have done something deserving no praise. We may also learn wisdom by the follies of others.
         In the next place, Learn to suffer without complaining; that is the best thing I can teach you.  Don’t care about what’ve got and what you can achieve in the near future, including money. If coins are NOT rolling in, you need to patient and get yourself well prepared. Perseverance and diligent work will finally pay off. Studying hard doesn’t necessarily mean huge wealth. However, without a ready performance in one’s academic study and basic knowledge accumulation, how can adapt oneself to new circumstances. Remember, learning is wealth to the poor, an aid and a support to the young.
          Last is not the least. Don’t have yourself get a scholarship to college or win gold medals at the Olympics. If so, can you imagine how much pressure you have for yourselves. No matter how good at it you are, if it stops being fun, you won’t want to do it anymore.
          We may come to a conclusion now. A worth-living life needs life long diligent learning. Learning much from others, suffering much, and studying without pressure are the three pillars of learning.

The answer is YES! Hard studying is the step for success, for knowledge is power. The study is a hope and fortune and future and success. The more he learns, the more he sees his ignorance. We all dream of being genius, that is human nature,but genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. We are all eager for success.Success belongs to the persevering. There are many stories about hard studying in ancient or modern and home or aboard,such as kuangHeng, who is Han Dynasty ,is really poor,but nothing can stop him reading .He tried his best to find a way to read by digging the wall steal light. He was so assiduously studying, finally he became a very learned person.Zhang Heng and LIbai ,and so on.The modern stories including Guo Moruo ,Hua Luogeng,Zhou Enlai and Mao Zedong and so forth.Their success attribute to the assiduous study in childhood.They set good examples for us.There is a certain idea of nothing better than one has a efficient father. People look forward to marrying a rich person.The idea about useless studying is really popular.I think these ideas are all wrong.Though some doctors and master s work for the senior ,this is temporary,I deem.With the further reform and opening,the society system will be perfect, I presume.Facts are facts,and the facts will confirm that no pains no gains and success belongs to the persevering.We should live and learn, so as to renew own knowledge and take a place in the vehemence society.He who laughs last laughs last.Better late than never.
  In a word , it is necessary for us to study hard.

In my opinion, first of all we should distinguish what kind of lessons that we are studying. If the lessons referred to are what only for tests, I think the answer is no. But if the lessons referred to are what we really needed, I think the answer is yes. As well as we know, in  our current education system, students can learn little useful knowledge. It is only function is to kill original talents of children. So I suggest that we should pay little attention to it, and our children should obtain more free time. On the contrary, if we are learning some lessons that concerns to our real abilities like elaborative faculty, reaction ability and so on ,we should working hard. We can’t get all knowledge, but we can know how to get those knowledge. Only through working hard, you make knowledge become a part of you body. If we look back on history, No one of the successful man is lazy. They have talent, they work hard, and they get success. So we should learn how to distinguish our lessons, and then work hard, then you will access to success.

                         Is it necessary to study hard?
  Today, Chinese enterprises do need many workers to do the basic jobs, which is the necessary outcome companying with Chinese manufacture industry rapid development. In this case, taking a job turns a shortcut to make life better. China is developing manufacturing country, many enterprises are engaged in simple machining process. The characteristic of this operation mode is tiny margin profit and huge scale. So for many enterprises, who they wants are cheap labour forces but high educated people. Then it seems that people with low education is more popular than one whth high in labour marketing. Some even claims education is useless.

  Is it true? We should think further. As we know, the persistent development of this country does not depend on some simple machining but higher margin process. That is the enterprises should move to higher position in industry chain. In brief, we will change "Made in China" to "Designed in China". In this operation mode, more brain jobs are needed. Can labours do it? Of course NOT. Only can high educated people fit while low out.

  Then think the title again. Do you want be today's winner or tomorrow’s winner or do you want making money for years or for ages? Then make your own choice.

Is it necessary for us to study hard?

I think it is not easy to say it . Different people may have different answers.
In my opinion,First, Our parents want us to study well . when we are in our senior high school, we must learn hard so that we can enter a good collede.  At least you may have more chances in making more money and pesonal develpment when you are a college student.

Secondly, when you enter college or society. I think we must complete the transformation from a student to society people. I don't mean it is not nessary for us to study hard. We should learn to use what we learn to change our lives or society.I think it is more important than studying hard without caring other things.

You may say , many rich people have poor knowledge. That is very hard to answer,but mostly they have good chances. No pain，no gain and luck comes when opportunity meets preparation.

So, in a word ,we should learn hard then wen can change our lives.
